Change instrument sound in mixer

I know how to use the mixer to change an instrument sound by clicking on the name of the staff on the mixer then clicking on "sound" and scrolling down to the sound you seek. But this can be laborious and time consuming. For example, I like to audition the sounds by using the crisp sound of "grand piano," but when I want to change the sound to "choir aahs," it takes a very long time to scroll down through the list and find that sound. Is there a quick and easy way to find and change that sound?
