spacer bug
Adding spacers to drag the staves up and down doesn't work on all staves on the page. I am making worksheets and need a lot of text so staff spacing is different for each one. The top one works but the bottom one won't move at all. I've tried restarting but no good.

hmm.. that actually did the trick but it's a strange way of doing it when the spacer is the first suggestion you get. Anyway, thank you for your answer :)
Generally, you shouldn't need spacers for this - staff text will automatically add space to avoid collisions, and there are also text frames or vertical frames for larger blocks. I've done hundreds of worksheet and have hardly ever needed spacers. But assuming you are on the current version of MuseScore (3.6.2), spacers should work the same regardless of which staff they are attached to as far as I know. So, it might be useful if you posted an example of what you are doing so we can understand and assist better.

This is my first day with Musescore coming from Sibelius. The automatic spacing left too much space. I think I have it sorted for now and on my second work sheet as adding a title to the second page didn't seem possible so I gave up and started a new one. Thanks for all the replies.

Select the first measure on page 2, insert vertical Frame, right click add Title.

yes, as I said in my previous reply to you I did that and it worked. Thanks.

You can add titles wherever you like, you just need another vertical frame to add it to. And you can also control how much space is added in the automatic placement. As mentioned, if you attach your score, we are very happy to show you the most effective ways of doing what you are trying to do.
