Program icon
Hi, Gang!!!
I use MuseScore 3.6.2 Portable AppImage, inside computers with Ubuntu Studio 20.04.2 LTS (64 bit Linux).
Sometimes, I missed the "official" program icon, because I use the AppImage.
Is there some way to get that icon as a bmp image file, or something? ???
Blessings and Greetings from Chile!!!

Here's a .png and a .jpg.
The png has transparency.
The .bmp extension is not able to be attached,
So just change the .jpg file extension to .bmp.

Thank you so much, @Jm6stringer!!!
The AppImage already provides an icon, and it should be installed automatically when you run the AppImage with the "install" option. That also installs the desktop file and does everything else necessary to fully integrate MuseScore with your system.

Hi, Marc!!!
Excuse my great ignorance... What about the "run the AppImage with the "Install" option"? ???
I never used that way before. I just run the AppImage using the standard double-click right mouse button way.
How does it work? ???

Simply run the AppImage from the terminal and with the "install" option, so for instance type:
"./MuseScore.AppImage install"
(without the quotes of course, and substituting the actual name of the AppImage, and after cd'ing to the proper directory)
For more info, see the Handbook section "Install on Linux".

Thanks for the information !
I do still have a question related to AppImage installation.
Is there a way to make the Linux AppImage installation system-wide instead of just being applied to just one linux user ?

I just found the answer.
It just suffice to run the installation as root (sudo)
