Playback Not Working/No SoundFont Download
So I had MuseScore on my old computer and one day, the playback stopped working, but I didn't mind because my new PC build was just finished. When I downloaded MuseScore 3 on my new computer (with Windows), the same problem was happening. I do research and the basic SoundFont wasn't installed in the normal installation of MuseScore even after I uninstalled and downloaded it again twice. I tried to download one of the other SoundFonts MuseScore recommends but the links don't work for the download. I'm pretty sure its not a computer problem because my MuseScore worked perfectly fine for the 5 years I've been using it, and the same problem occurred on my new and old PC. Can I download the SoundFont on another computer, put it on a USB, and import it onto this computer though?

What happens when you open the Fluid tab in the Synthesizer? If you hit the Add button, you should see the default font that you can install.

I literally can’t open the synthesizer tab it’s greeted out and I can’t click on it

In the Windows program files for Musescore, do you see the MuseScore_General.sf3 soundfont listed in the sound folder?

No, and I've tried downloading it again but the download link doesnt work on the Musescore website.

If the Synthesizer is grayed out, that doesn't mean the sounfont is missing - it means MuseScore can't communicate with your audio drivers. See the FAQ article linked further below and follow each and every one of the suggestions there carefully.

Everything grayed out sounds like there is no score open.
