"b" (flat) sign (in chords) incorrectly imported from XML files exported from Sibelius.
Hi, I'm trying to import XML files from Sibelius. The chords that have the "b" symbol - Eb - as an example, looks like - E". The b is transformed in an ".
If I import XML files from iReal B everything works ok.
Does anyone knows the reason for this?
Thanks

Can you attach a sample XML file?

Of course. Thanks for you time.
It may be related to the fact that Chords are treated like text and not like chord information, with these XML files sent to me.

I see stuff like this:
This indeed doesn't look like a proper encoded chord symbol

That is what I thought. Thanks. I ask the arranger for the full score and try to extract the guitar part

Maybe use Dolet for the export?

I'll ask him if he uses it.
Does it improve the xml export quality in Sibelius?

As far as I know the Dolet export is much better.

Always use Dolet export when exporting to other software.
Direct xml export is only useful between different versions of Sibelius.
