Launching MuseScore (version installed from the repo with aptitude) nothing happens. When launching it via the terminal, the program runs (no UI) then terminates with the following error message:
ICE default IO error handler doing an exit(), pid = 2552, errno = 32
(this would suggest a problem with a network printer maybe?)
Technical details:
- Debian 11 (bullseye)
- Linux kernel 5.10
- 64 bits
- version installed from the stable repo using aptitude (apt install musescore3)

From: https://musescore.org/en/download/musescore-x86_64.AppImage ?
Probably not a duplicate (of #326050: Unable to launch AppImage (missing libraries probably)), but nothing the MuseScore team can handle, you'd need to tell the maintainer of the package of that distro.
But indeed maybe a(n unreachable) network printer is the culprit? If so, make sure that the default printer is reachable.

Do you mean to say the mose recent version of MuseScore 3 does not have that bug? (meaning the version on the repo is slightly outdated?)
Note that I have this bug with both MuseScore 2 and MuseScore 3...
I will try to build MuseScore from sources then.
The packages for distros are not built by the MuseScore team, only the version for Windows (32-bit, 64-bit, PortableApp), Mac and Linux AppImage are. So the MuseScore team can't get hold responsible for the distro mainainers' work and their (potential) failures.
Likely some dependency is missing. The AppImage should (!) bring them all along (if not that is a bug to fix).
