Change key in part if there are more sharps than flats (and vice versa)
Hello
I am currently writing a score in E major with an Eb Alto Saxophone part. When viewing that part, it is transposed to C# major. However, I would like to change that to Db major (since it has fewer accidentals). Is that possible?

That Howto is linked to by the handbook, the page about transpositioning, https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/transposition (and now also by the page about key signatures, https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/key-signatures)

Thanks. The keyword I was missing was "enharmonic". I didn't know that was a term before today.
Be sure to check with your saxophone player to see if they truly desire Db over C#. Many if not most would not - they are far more accustomed to seeing sharps because of the transposition of their instruments. They see 3, 4, 5 sharps all the time but almost never see more than 1 flat. So suddenly seeing 5 is not nice for many of them.
