THE SYNTHESIZER DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE INSTALLED
I started several years ago with MuseScore 1 upgraded thru the years to MuseScore 3.5 . . . every thing was working great for the last several years. then I updated two weeks ago to to MuseScore 3.6.2.548 . . . and some how I LOST the ability's to use the Synthesizer Mode and for me that is the main function that I use with this product. I have spent many hours with the "HELP" files with NO LUCK. I have DELETED the "MuseScore" program TWICE and RE-INSTALLED it TWICE with NO LUCK.
It is time to stop and ask for help.

In any case, did you try any of the suggestions in that article? One of them should work. But be sure to try all of them - including #8 if nothing else does.
What is it that makes you think that the synthesizer isn't installed? What steps are you going through and where does it fail?
