Freezing, lagging out, and otherwise very slow; not using resources
Title says it all. Musescore isn't utilizing my system resources, and frequently freezes and becomes unresponsive. I tried opening a 24 kb score (8 measures of grand piano) and it took nearly 3 minutes- all the while never reaching more than 6% CPU usage and never getting above 600mb of ram usage.
I uninstalled all extensions and languages besides US English, to no avail.
I'm running Musescore 3 on Windows 11 Pro.
i9-11900k @5.2 GHz
32GB DDR4-3200 MHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX-1650 SUPER 4gb
I have also tried performing the same task on the same computer running AVL-MXE-2021-06-18 64bit but with no improvements.
I'm also only using a 60Hz 1080p display, as I know musescore doesn't like high resolution screens.
I would love to continue using this program but as it stands it is quite literally not possible.

Was a problem before the upgrade from windows 10 to 11. Again, also tried on AudioVisual Linux MX Edition with the same problem

Have you tried: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/revert-factory-settings ?
The computer I upgraded was far inferior to yours. Everything was quite slow. I ran Ccleaner and Glary Utilites and discovered a few hundred empty registry entries and start start folder problems. All created by the upgrade process. Deleting those things, and other things that were found, sped things up quite a bit. Can we assume you are on an SSD?

Is that the time required to open the score, or the time required to launch MuseScore by opening that score?
