Musescore 3.6.2 crashing on startup in Big Sur 11.6.3
I work in a school and we are about to upgrade our Mac OS to Big Sur. I have several teachers using Musescore and it doesn't work on Big Sur. I initially opened it on Big Sur and it worked. Program asked to update to 3.6.2, I agreed to install and now it crashes upon startup every time. I've attached the Mac crash details via text edit.
Please help :)

Maybe #317323: macOS 10.5 accessibility setting “Enable Hover Text” causes crash?

no dice on that. I saw that thread and tried it. no go.
Or maybe the web access of the startcenter, disable that via the -w command line option or via starting MuseScore per double-click onto a score file (and then disabling the startcenter in preferences)

damn! you're a genius. for anyone else having this issue, here's what I did:
1. downloaded a musescore file from community
2. opened the file in musescore desktop
3. Musescore [dropdown menu] -> Preferences -> unchecked "Show start center" under Program Start
4. Checked "Start with new score" under Program Start
No more crashes. Can open it from a file or from scratch.
