Import from MusicXML error
Hi
I'm doing arranging in Cakewalk and exporting to MusicXML, but when I open my XML in MuseScore, my "long" notes becomes 2 notes in MuseScore. Is there a solution to this ?

See #331007: [MusicXML import] support tie element, known issue with Cakewalk, its MusicXML export is not complete

No, I forgot to write that. I downloaded a program called Finale Notpad in order to check this. It imports my file correctly.

Then Finale Notepad is more forgiving for such errors.
Making MuseScore more forgiving too is what that issue above is about

My first guess was also that Cakewalk had the error. At least I found out that I can import it in Finalenotepad and then export it again, which works.

Thanks, I've added that as a workaround to that issue

Caklewalk's MusicXML export does not encode ties correctly. MuseScore imports correctly and (maybe too) strict

Ok thanks for the info.
