Do I need the update?
I know that Musescore 4 is about to get released and I wanted to know a few things because I'm still using 3.6.0:
1) Are there other versions ready to download after the 3.6.2.5480....? (The latest update that Musescore makes me download when I look for an update in the software)
2) Will I be able to download and istall musescore 4 when it is released without installing the smaller verions behind it first?

Do update from 3.6.0 to 3.6.2 because all you're missing out on now is a number of bugfixes.
1.) 3.6.2 is the most recent release
2.) Yes, you can install any version of MuseScore directly, without the need for installing previous versions first.

3.6.0 has a few extremely critical bugs that can crash the program and corrupt scores - definitely update to 3.6.2.
MuseScore 4 won't be an update to MsueScore 3; it will be a totally separate program. So you can have both versions installed at once, and in fact this will absolutely be recommended, as there may well be scores that for whatever reason make more sense to keep in MuseScore 3 rather than import into MuseScore 4.

Thanks a lot for the ansewer, didn't expect one from you! By the way you're right I should have installed the new versions before as a crash on 3.6.0 almost corrupted a file
