Musescore will no longer play back files or creations
I tried reinstalling the software / free download and it did not solve the issue

Launching a file Windows Explorer to start the Musescore did not help either
Musescore play button permanently "greyed out) - see image attached

Yes - I did but thansks for the tip. The Synthesizer options are all greyed out too :(
This is a new error for me. Was working fine last week
First (well second), to verify the problem, go to the View menu and choose Synthesizer. By default (and as of MuseScore 2.2), you should see "MuseScore_General.sf3" in the Fluid tab of the Synthesizer window.

Yes - duplicate : was not working today.
Install / reinstall not working. Fortunately we have another PC I will try it on
