Pasting text into frame question
I'm trying to cut and paste several Lines of text from the word processing app, Libre Office, and paste it into a Frame in Musescore. (It's a musical theater project and I want to have a block of dialogue positioned above the music that will accompany it. )
The problem is none of the carriage returns from the original document are translating to Musescore, so it's one big line of text which spills out of the frame.
Of course, I can just add the carriage returns in after pasting it, but I was wondering if there's a better way?
This is my first Musescore project.

But text handling is (for now) problematic. If you want to insert 'justified' you will have to resort to a workaround (attached).
Did you hit escape to leave edit mode after the paste? In most cases that causes the text formatting to fix itself. It's an unfortunate fact of life that different systems processing line breaks differently - dating back to the early days of computing with different ASCII codes for "carriage return" versus "line feed", which were of course separate operations on manual typewriters! That isn't 100% the reason why this glitch exists, but it's part of it.
