1) Hit N to notate in the drumset line
2) Preview appears at the bottom showing the instrumentation to chose from
3) Clicking on any of the notes plays an incorrect sound that does not match the written note

Please attach the score with the problem, and be sure to say if you are using any non-default soundfonts.
I'd prefer to send in a recording of the issue, the "preview sounds" of the drumset are all switched up no matter which project I work with.
I can confirm the issue in this particular score, also scores I create from the big band template, but not ones I create from scratch. I'm guessing there is something that needs updating in the instrument definition in the template, but anyhow, since this is indeed reproducible, please open an issue on GitHub so the developers can investigate - https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/new?assignees=&labels=&te…
Ah, now I remember, there is indeed a known issue that occurs when transposing instruments are involved and concert pitch is turned off. See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/15866

It's true, I tried changing the transposing instrument to concert pitch, and the drum notation issue is corrected. However, this is hardly a "fix", as I always have at least one transposing instrument, and I need them displayed in their appropriate keys. If being in GitHub means that it the problem will actually be addressed, fine.
