Thank you for help. This problem occurs on any music scores. If you press Enter key in the title or the sub-title window, the application freezes. A sample is attached just in case. The information of MuseScore version is shown in the attached image file. the windows version I am using is Windows 11 home version 21H2. Language option is 'Japanese'.
I cannot reproduce this with the attached score, but I am guessing now the crash is related to the Japanese language selection, as I assume there are multibyte characters and these might be handled differently depending on your language settings. Can someone else confirm the crash with Japanese selected?
I'm Japanese language environment user.
As shown above GIF, I cannot reproduce it, too.
I could press RET-key(ENTER-key).
No problem occured.

My environment is almost same except version 22H2.

Keyboard: REALFORCE 89U (USB connected JP106 Type keyboard)
I confirmed MuseScore4 works normaly on my other Windows 10 machine.
It still doesn't work on my Windows 11 machine even if re-installed it.
Anyhow my Wndows 11 machine seems to have a specific problem as for the MuseScore4.
Let me keep finding out the cause of it and I will report here if I got it.
Thank you all.

Same as previous reporter 'divrotvectora1', the reporter 'toithichamnha' this time also reported that the problem occurred on Windows11 environment, but not occurred on Windows10.

Similar problem report is coming again.
In his/her case, it seems to occur at "Composer/arranger frame" rather than "Title frame".

But I cannot reproduced it.
There is no Composer/Arranger frame just the corresponding fields in a vertical aka title frame

Yes. So it's essentially the same problem, isn't it?

As additional information, he/she reports that it occurs with both the ENTER key on the numeric keypad and the ENTER key on the full key.
(... But I can not reproduced this on my Windows11 environmet.)

I found almost same issue on GitHub.
This may be a language-independent problem.

Ah! I could reproduce the problem by enabling Windows accessibility setting "Text cursor indicator".
I will ask them about the status of this setting.

divrotvectora1 san,
If you have enabled following setting, please disable it.
Does the problem still occur after disabling it?
Settings -> Windows accessibility -> Text cursor -> Text cursor indicator
(設定 -> アクセシビリティ -> テキスト カーソル -> テキスト カーソル インジケーター)

Thanks for fixing my wrong status change.
I had no intention of changing it, but for some reason it changed.
Thank you very much, knoike-san and all.
Following your suggestion, I disabled it and found this successful with Musescore version 4.

It seems that the reporter 'toithichamnha' was able to solve this issue by applying the same workaround.
