Dynamic volumes change
Hey everyone, I noticed that when I'm working on some instruments like bassoons or horns, the dynamic volumes are affected by the next dynamics or crescendo/decresecndo lines. Example: I created a melody line for bassoon in p, that finishes with a decresecendo to ppp. Then I copy pasted that phrase, but the 2nd phrase sounds softer than the first one. And if I change the decresecendo to a crescendo in the second phrase, then tue begging of the second phrase sounds as it should be, the same as the first phrase, equal dynamic volume. I don't know how to solve this.

Thank you Marc. So as you will see in the doc i attached. In the Example A i create a melody line with the bassoons. I use p as the dynamic and the first phrase ends with the decrescendo to pp. Then in the second phrase i repeat the melody line but this time i use a cresecndo to mp. As you will hear the second phrase does not equal the volume of p, it sound softer, quieter. But i you play the Example B, the two phrases sound equal by eliminating the crescendo to mp.
I try to prove this into other instruments and it seems that the playback malfunctions randomly.

Dynamics indeed affect things oddly. In this score, just play the top staff. Ignore the volume pop when the phrase plays the second time. That's another problem.
Now play just the second staff. Notice the p dynamic is softer and the ppp is way softer. Even though the dynamics are the same as the top staff. Except for the mp in measure 9 of the bottom staff.

Yep, you nailed it. That seems pretty weird. It seems to only happen with bassoon, contrabassoon, horns and clarinets sometimes. Hope it is fixed soon. Thanks!
