Lost progress from failed save.
I spent a long time today working on a project in MuseScore and when I saved it to the cloud, MuseScore unexpectedly closed as the save was just finished and all of my progress was lost. How could this have happened and how might I be able to prevent it from happening again?

I can't get anything to save. I have work from today that I have tried several times to save and it won't save. I can't close my computer down. I just upgraded from Musescore 3.0 today. Not impressed!

Are you guys doing "Save as" first? And don't save to the cloud until you know it works. I always save to my hard drive. I don't trust the cloud.
MU4 will take some getting used to.

Yes, I always do a "save as" as I save to an external hard drive. I'm so fed up with Musescore 4. I have always used Musescore. This is the second time I tried upgrading to 4, but it's still seems as problematic as before, so may just revert back to 3 again. I have used Musescore for years and never am bothered by upgrades, but Musescore 4 has really been the pits for me! I have had terrible luck with it on the two occasions I have used it. Sadly, I had to lose all my work from this afternoon when I closed my computer down for the night. My schedule is very tight, so that was really disappointing and frustrating.
