Stray Mark when printing as PDF
Why is there a big, bold black box around my bass clef when I print as a PDF when the box is not there on the MuseScore?

What version of MuseScore, what Operating system, what printer (type/driver), which score?

Also, how was the pdf created? - Using a virtual pdf printer (if so, which one?) or by exporting as a pdf from within Musescore?

Sorry, but I am using Mac OS Sonoma 14.0
Version 3.6.2.5...
The mark shows when I printout by any means, directly form the Muse Score on my network printer, or when I print by saving it as a PDF.

I use Mac's PDF App called "Preview". My printer is a Xerox VersaLink B405

Which muscial font
I hazard a guess though: Mac (just confirmed), Leland, HP printer, Airprint?

Mac OS Sierra 14.0, Xerox Printer Versalink B405, using Mac's Preview PDF software, Running MuseScore Version 3.6.2.548020600, Leland is the font. Was there anything else?

The score itself...
When you change to, say, Emmentaler, does that fix it?

It is more likely to be a problem with the Mac's Preview PDF software than a problem with the font. Some virtual pdf printers have difficulty with some music symbols.
What happens if you use File>Export from within Musescore to create the pdf (with the original Leland font) instead of the Mac's Preview PDF software?

There'a a know problem with Max, Leland, HP Laserjet and AirPrint, not sure this here is the same
That one is fixed in Mu4 (and in my Mu3.7)

Or is it just your viewer, does Acrobat show this too? So please share the PDF too
