Many thanks. It is a distinct possibility. The laptop is running Winows 11 Pro. But it only has 4 GB RM. I will have to buy a more powerful machine. It worked on my old lafptop (a Clevo). I was trying to save money. Sigh.....

Great idea, I will check out the spec. to see how many slots are available. The last laotop had 16GB if memory serves. Thanks again. Paul

Usually laptops have 2 slots, at 4GB chances are that one is free and you cpould add another 4GB. If it does sipport different sizes on these slots, even more, else you'd need to take all old RAM out
