Tuning at 432 Hz

• Jun 8, 2024 - 08:20

Please insert the "Synthesizer" tuning variation as soon as possible, as in the previous version of MS3, to be able to bring it to 432 Hz which is the classic tuning of the A 4th octave, before Hitler raised it to 440 Hz in 1943. I don't know if you know this news but it is a historical reality. The 440 Hz tuning was desired by Nazism to enhance the ringing notes of Aryan power.

I understand you opinion and I respect it, but, apart from the historical reason, I believe that being able to change the global tuning is an important feature (like in MS3) for all those who want to compose music at 432 Hz, which is, we know, the classical tuning, since it allows the frequencies of "C" to be in perfect geometric progression: C first octave = 64 Hz, C2 = 128 Hz, C3 = 256 Hz and so on. Thank you

I don't understand the reason for all this controversy. My intention is just to want the tuning change selection again like in the previous MS3 version. That's all. I didn't want to raise any controversy by referring to the 440 Hz tuning. I thought it was well known that it was at the behest of the Third Reich. But... that's water under the bridge. I apologize for the controversy that arose from this misunderstanding.
