If you are talking about musescore.com (as compared to the MS songbook or viewer for mobile, see How and where to ask for support. This is not the right place to discuss those.
If you are talking about the MS Editor, you should find it under “tools” at the top left of the screen.

I think MS editor. I was able to select a song from the database and it would give me the option to edit. I don't seem to have the option to this any longer. What do I need to download for the MS Editor again?

I used to have this option. Even tried redownloading. This option seems to have disappeared for my use.
