Guitar Strumming Technique

• Sep 22, 2024 - 16:22

I've applied Strum technique (up & down) from Arpeggios palette to Rhythm Guitar, but it sounds wavy not just like real guitar sound. Can anyone help me to solve this problem? Thank you.

After selecting all these Arpeggios symbols, press "Playback" tab (in Properties panel) and decrease as wished the "Spread Delay" (the "default" value is 1)
The result is better but not really convincing (for me)

I don't know about you guys, but I seldom hit all six strings on every strum. Some variation sounds more realistic in software. Try this MU4 file. Not perfect but not too bad. Food for thought

Good luck with all this.

For others who might search the forum for help with strumming, it's probably helpful if you correct the misspelling in the post title, changing the nn to mm.

I've just found out the effect for Rhythm Guitar, Strumming Up/Down.
In the Mixer menu, select Sound and then Audio FX. There are many options for you to choose with your preference.
