It is correct, but may not be wanted anyhow, so select the 4/4 in the next line, right-click, hide courtesy time signature

Unless you have some special reason for turning it off thought, you shouldn't. It *is* correct and indeed extremely necessary to have those courtesy time signatures there except in the very specific unusual cases where it doesn't. Without them, most people reading will miss the time sigature change.
