mysterious little black square
Hello,
After a printout of this score sheet, I discovered a mysterious little black square
on top of the endbar in the last measure of the piece.
Whatever I do, I cannot get rid of this square. You only will notice this when using
the enlargement possibility (take for instance 400%), but it is definitely there in the printout.
Deleting the last measure and making a new one does not help: it stays there.
Can someone help me please?

I opened your score, enlarged up to 800% - but don’t find anything mysterious about the last bar (see screenshot).

Maybe it is a Windows only problem? Because I see it on WinXP.

Perhaps you are right. Looking at your screenshot you are running MuseScore under O.S Apple ?

I see it under Vista. I tried saving as MSCX and looking at the file in Wordpad, hoping I'd notice something odd about the last bar, but I don't. Not that I'm really super familiar with how things "should" look in an MSCX file. But if the score really is OK, that would suggest an issue somewhere in how the score rendering algorithm, which in turn - since it seems to be system dependent - makes me want to blame Qt.

I found it was very small in v1.1 (r4535 prerelease), only showing above 500% zoom and much larger in 1.2, showing at about 200%. I didn't see it under 2.0, but 2.0 didn't render it very well because of all the custom lines.

Well I noticed it when I printed this score! I did not notice it useing the 100% magnitude
in MuseScore.

I just tried saving as PDF, and the glitch does not appear in that output. So that would seem to be a way to get a good print.

Starting with a new score and copying the notes from the original score with that mysterious little black square is the only way to get rid of it. So I did….. (sigh...)

That does get ridf of it, but also of a lot of other things unfortunatly... the score doesn't like quite the same after re-import
