MusicXML is not valid
Hey guys, the attached XML file was imported from Sibelius. I no longer have Sibelius installed however since it was only a free trial. Every time I try to open this MusicXML it says that it is not a valid MusicXML file and it just opens up a blank page. Please help. I can't go back to Sibelius since my trial expired and thus I can no longer share, save, export, import, etc..... in Sibelius.

MuseScore is not lying; Chrome won't open it either. I tried opening it in a text editor and it's a bunch of gibberish.
This might be a sibelius file (.sib?), just renamed to .xml.
It starts with "0x0f S I B E L I U S", which looks like the magic marker for Sibelius files?
I don't have a real Sibelius file to compare with though.
It certainly is neither an XML nor an MXL file.

Indeed, that's exactly what it is. I changed the extension to .sib and it opened in my trial of Sibelius. Ask somebody to convert it for you here: http://www.sibeliusforum.com/
