Opening .xml: bad format
Trying to open a score that was saved as a .xml file on Finale and an error reads:
Cannot read file /New Moon Mvt. 2a.mxl: bad format
Showing details reads:
Error reading container.xml at line 1 column 1: unexpected end of file

As small as the file is, it would be more surprising if it opened.
It has meta data that says it is zipped, but it is corrupted and I can't open it.

Thanks for trying! I wonder if I need to have the sender retry? Sounds like something went wrong on their end.

It sounds that way.
By the way. The file is not and XML file it is an MXL file. An XML file is not compressed. The person at the other end needs to export it to music XML.
