lyrics line spacing
I have increased the lyrics text font size to 14 pts.
Next I would like to decrease the space between lyrics lines.
What do I change the setting of to do this?

In the same place you changed the font size, has a vertical offset object. If you decrease this vertical offset, the lyrics will move closer to the top of the score.

I have three lyric lines.
I chose even lyric lines and the middle line moved up really nice.
How do I move only the third line next?

Right-click on lyrics third line -> Select -> More -> Tick "Same subtype" (Verse3) -> Ok
Now, in Inspector, change the vertical offset as wished.

System: Set of staves to be read simultaneously in a score.
Staff (AE) / Stave (BE): Group of one to five horizontal lines used to lay on musical signs. In ancient music notation (before 11th century) the staff/stave may have any number of lines (the plural of 'staff' is 'staves', in BE and AE).
Grand Staff (AE) / Great Stave (BE): A system of two or more staves, featuring treble and bass clefs, used to notate music for keyboard instruments and the harp.

Click on a bass measure;
Hold down Shift and drag with the mouse

Grand staff distance. If you're dealing with a grand staff, like piano. Staff distancen otherwise, line when dealing with a SATB closed score

My first line at the top of the score has no lyrics.
The rest of the score has three lines of lyrics with
space below in a Grand staff of treble-base.
When I use any of these methods,
only the one with no lyrics gets adjusted.

Of course, on the others the lyrics determine the space needed.
And even if you manually move any verses up, they still take the space at their original location.
You can set "Lyrics distance below" to a smaller value

Sorry, it is "Lyrics bottom margin" (downside of trying to translated back from German)
Right next to it you'd also fiole "Lyrics line height", setting this to something below 100% should get your verserse closer to one another ?

My score is good now.
