Search box goes to a different domain
musescore.org is the only domain I know of in which each page has a prominent search box (white on blue; locked from scrolling) at the top, which searches a different domain: musescore.com. When you go there by accident, there is no obvious quick way to get back to where you meant to be. The search box for musescore.org is delicately painted in white on white, with the faintest hint of a border; and it scrolls off. What on earth is the point of this?

Well, the text in the former "Search for sheet music" is enough of a hint, isn't it?

No, I do not think it is. Can you name any other website with a prominent search box at the top which is a search of a different website? Could it not at least be prominently labelled "Musesore.com" or similar? Why does the (OBVIOUSLY) more important search box for this site get hidden by scrolling?
At most, switch them. I honestly don’t know why the sites aren’t merged.
