I have a really complex score with many piano staffs and very complex runs of notes. In some of the most intensive parts of the song many of the notes won't play due to too many needing to be played at once. Compare to the old days of the NES when there were only five sound channels so when more than five sounds needed to be played the extras would be omitted. Now the cap for notes at once seems to be pretty high during playback so many users won't notice, but it means for me that more than one of my scores is now essentially broken due to half of the notes not playing back. I confirmed it was due to the number of notes because when I played each staff individually the sections sounded fine but when put all together the problem occurred. Please review because I put many hours into these scores and I desperately want them to playback nicely. Thank you for listening and keep up the amazing work!

I think you're probably jumping to conclusions too quickly. I'm pretty convinced that your problem is not the number of notes played but rather the fact that more than one voice/intrument plays the same note on the same midi channel. You'll find a lot of post concerning this problems in this forum (and there's active work done to find a convincing solution for this problem).
