How to add shortcodes/variables to text?
Hi, I want to add a title to my piece, so I add the title text type. But it doesn't show the piece's title.
In Sibelius you type \$title\ to show it.
What is the variable called in Musescore please? And for composers/subtitle/etc. I can't find it in the manual.

See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/staff-properties and note that these only work in header and footer, nor in the title frame, and that there is only a one time copy of one to the other at score creation

There are no text code you can enter to automatically update the title. The only time that title is entered automatically is when you create the score using the New Score wizard.

To be clear: to get a title, simply type the title. The metadata you can enter in FIle / Score Properties is available for header and footer only. If you want the title anywhere else, and didn't enter it when you first created the score (in which case it would already be appearing) then you simply type it.
