Thx. It was the 'Begin' that I missed in my research.
A symbol perhaps redundant but practical (as you say here: IMHO).

That's why it got closed issue tracker as #278482: End+Begin-Repeat barline is missing as being by design.
There was another issue or forumt topic about this the other day, can't find it now
