Musescore Keeps Crashing
I have created a new score to rescore a project I have been working on. I am trying to redo the part and staff properties to fit the original score layout, for the most part, and I can't click on a part name without it crashing. This is infuriating because I have to do this as soon as I can and many times. If I am unable to do this, it would be detrimental to the rehearsals. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Can you check please if this issue (see your other thread: https://musescore.org/en/node/282055#comment-889501) might be related to the current thread?
Seems not really the same: "I can't click on a part name without it crashing", but deserves to be verified.
Otherwise, please attach the another (?) file?

Somehow I got it to work by saving directly after I did something. But to recreate, I was formatting a score. I chose the symphonic orchestra as a preset. I chose the key as g major/e minor. I would go to the instruments, remove bassoon 2, oboe, snare drum, and bass drum. I would add the bass clarinet, and the three main saxophones, along with a drumset and chimes to use as percussion parts. I would redo the barlines to correctly go to the next staff. I would also redo some brackets adding it to the new percussion parts and saxophones. The score order would then be, Flute 1, flute 2, Oboe 1, Bb Clarinet 1, Bb Clarinet 2, Bass Clarinet, Basson 1 - New bracket - Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone - New bracket - Horn 1 & 3, Horn 2 & 4, Bb Trumpet 1, Bb Trumpet 2, Trombone 1, Trombone, 2, Tuba - New bracket - Drumset, Cymbals, Chimes - New bracket - Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Violoncello, and Contrabass. At any point redoing the barlines, adding the instruments, or going to rename the current list, the program would crash.

I would try to rename Trumpet 2 to Trumpet 2 & 3, Trombone 2 to Trombone 2 & 3, Drumset to Percussion 1, and Chimes to Percussion 2.

Ok, but with which score? We need this score for checking what is happening.

Since I have filled out the scores which this would happen, I will create another file but also attach the files I have created. The first three have been formatted. Two of them are complete. The last one is the test score for you to recreate the renaming and reformatting. I have put in all the instruments.

Ok, thanks, but the last file ("empty" test score, ie Ashen_3.mscz ) is supposed to crash somewhere?

It would. When reformatting the score. I did that process 3 times for the first 3 and only experienced problems on the "Main Menu and Autopsy Reports" and "Exploration".
