Just installed new update (3.0.2.5312). Now getting error. Never had error before.

Not sure this is a duplicate. The bug you linked to requires "changing preferences or workspaces" to get the error message. This one only requires opening and closing Musescore. I have the exact same problem.

If you check for updates, you will see the Hot Fix for this issue was released. If you already made this update and still see the issue, then tell us what operating system you are using. It was believed that the problem was Windows specific. I had the same problem as you until I upgraded to MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.2.5315, revision: a8b90a8
