Using Inspector deselects the object.
U have noticed that if I want to, for example, select a text object and change it's font and then change it's position using ctrl/arrow keys, making the first change in inspector means that the object must be reselected before I can change it's position.
I think that the object should remain selected.

Clicking an item in the inspector has always move the focus to the inspector. Try changing something in version 2, then press arrows and see what happens.

Okay, but I would like to see a change, although I doubt it is easy. :)
Besides, 3 is supposed to be better than 2. :)

Actually, once you've done with the inspector, pressing escape returns focus to the item you are editing. By the way, if your number one concern is moving the item, you can do that from the inspector with at least as much precision as using arrow key with the item selected.

I know I can move them that way but I don't know the exact amount when, for example, I write a text instruction using brackets to explain which changes apply to which repeat.

So do your edit in the inspector and press Escape to return focus to the item so you can use arrows to move it.
