Adding Text
Hi,
I want to add 6 verses of text to a melody. I know how to set up a vertical frame and, within that, a horizontal frame. I also know that I can type out the verses within the horizontal frame.
But that is time-consuming!
My question is this: can I copy or paste the verses from my Word Pad facility on Windows 7 and simply transfer the block of text by using the normal copying process. I have tried to do this without success. If there is any " step by step" advice on this I would be most grateful.
As I said, I know how to add the necessary frames. And I know how to enter the text word by word. But is there an easier way to transfer the block of text?

Thank you. I've tried this and the text appears but it's all over the place. There's no order to it and when I try to shift the various words back in line, the whole text disappears. I'm sure this can be resolved with your help.

Probably so, but we would need you attach your score and tell us precisely (step by step) what you are doing.
