As titled, when applying “TempoChange Plugin” to attached score of MS version 3.1, bar 5 for example, stretch increased.

That score is corrupt (in 3.0.5, not in 3.1Beta, not a good sign), then all bets are off and anything can happen

However, ignoring the corruption I see no difference in layout with or without those added tempo texts

After the file was uploaded, I couldn't access it on my PC!!!!!!!!
After restart Windows 10, the file was gone without trace, I had to downloaded it from above link. you may try to download it again and open it with this version:
That is 3.1 Beta, and I tried with that too. with that and the lates devopment builds I can see a slight stretch and don't get a corruption reported. Other way round in 3.0.5

Yes, there is still a slight effect on measure width due to all those extra segments. It's not technically affecting the stretch, but the minimum width to which the stretch is applied.
