Glissandos Change Notes when moved between staves
I am experiencing problems when writing glissandos for the Harp. I would like these glissandos to be diatonic, and span between the two staves. However, when I move the second note to the opposite stave (see images) [command/control + shift + up/down-arrow], the actual notes of the duration of the gliss in playback change, even though diatonic is still selected. Can anyone help me?

Please attach an actual score, not just a picture, and give us precise steps to reproduce the problem, then we can understand and assist better.

My apologies, in the now attached score, there is a sample of 2 pairs of identical glissandos, the first pair as semibreves, and the second as crotchets. The first gliss of each pair is all in the same stave, and playback acts as normally, however, in the other two lines, where the gliss spans across two staves, it can be observed that the playback of the glissando is not correct, although all four of the glissandos are selected to be diatonic. Apologies for any confusion.

I haven't delved into things and I don't know exactly how this is considered, but what you have to observe is that you don't just change the staff, but also the clef - you start in the second staff bass clef and the glissando goes to the first staff treble clef.
So, if for this measure, you add the same Bass clef in top staff, it goes well (third measure on the attached file, and the second measure is what you hear right now) : clefs-1.mscz (edited file)

I see, so the issue isn't necessarily the changing of the staves or the clefs alone, but when the two are combined together. This is interesting, although I assume, none the less, still a bug?

A bug surely since an identical file works with the version 2 (test file created with the 2.3.2): Version2.mscz

I need to do a gliss that's across the staves, but more importantly alternates up and down within a measure. I've attached two files, the first is pretty much what I want. The second is a close representation of how it sounds written out (and when I play the mixer, it's pretty close to the sound I want).
I've worked with a harpist who says that really all I'd have to do is to put slanted lines in without any notes, or even loop-de-loops(!) (gotta love harpists). When I try to do the up/down lines (/) it tries to link it to notes instead of the proper notation in my first example. Is there a way to do this, as this is apparently what at least my harpist (and she's a virtuoso) likes? Thanks!

You can make notes invisible (in the Inspector) and adjust the glissandi as lines.

Yeah, that's a good idea. Thanks! It won't play the way I want, but that's secondary. Guess I'll go with that.
Update: I managed to scratch and scrape through this process, but it was very, very difficult. When I tried to manipulate the lines, half the time the distance between the treble and bass staves started widening dramatically, eventually I had to use a compressor (spacer figure) to force the staves to stay closer together. The other half of the time the note that I linked to simply crawled over to the right, so there was a huge gap between the bar line and the first note (beat). To make matters worse, any time I did any other editing, even if it was 50 measures away, the gliss passage again would expand so the staves were too far apart for the lines, or it just started bumping notes right, and the more I tried to swing the line over to link up to the spot where the note was, the note kept pushing to the right. Also, I couldn't "undo" it and go back to the previous setting - I had to actually delete the newest line and start over if it ended up straying seemingly wherever it wanted to. And then when I finally (after almost 2 hours) got it all to sit the way I liked it, when I simply went to save it, it once again broke apart and got all discombobulated. My current final step right now is to get it the way I want then export a snapshot .pdf before saving it - if I try to save it before making the .pdf, it loses all its construction.
There must be a better way! It was not easy to say the least. I wish there was a way you could simply free draw lines onto an area much like a drawing menu in a text processor or something. That would solve the problem as I see it and be the most intuitive way to do this. Of course I know that might be very difficult with all the placement coding in Musescore, but that's what seems to be best for this type of thing.
