How to change fonts (dynamics, fermata) without changing the style?
The MuseJazz font, for the most part, works very well for what I'm trying to do. However, I do not like the way the dynamics and fermata look. I have tried editing them in the Style menu, to no avail. The Text Styles dialogue box also seems to be incapable of changing the fonts – when I change the font in either of them to "Bravura" or "Bravura Text", there is no visual change in the markings on the score.
What can I do to get different fonts, specifically for dynamics and fermata?

update: I was able to change the Dynamics Text. the Fermata font is still eluding me though. Anyone have any workarounds?

Format/Style->Text Styles. You won't find options for Articulations and Ornaments Fonts. They are glyphs, not exactly the same as the other text characters.
But wait for a better answer.
The font settings are text, but fermatas aren't text. What you can do though, though, is add a fermata as a symbol (press "Z" for that palette) rather than a true fermata. Then you can choose the font for the symbol. And you can add that to your own palette for future use.
Format > Style > Score
I unchecked the "Automatically load style settings based on font" and changed the MUSICAL SYMBOLS FONT to "Finale Broadway" and my fermata looked decent enough for me, unlike what it looked like in MuseJazz @_@
I hope this helps <3

I'd prefer PETALUMA font also to maintain the jazz handwritten feels
