If this isn't intentional, consider allowing traversal to also pass into acciaccaturas and pre/post-appoggiaturas. As the current behavior stands, only the 'main' notes receive finger-editing when spacing through notes. I.e., for example:

Same applies to navigation using Alt+Left/Right, which is used internally by the "fingering mode".

An update also that may be of importance in dealing with the code:
Notice also that when explicitly selecting a grace note and entering into finger-text mode, pressing space will bypass the note to which the grace note is attached. It's as if MS 'thinks' it's currently on the main note and not the grace note itself. At least this has happened a few times, not sure if it's 100% always the case depending on what kind of (acc/app/post-app) is used.
Never got around to fixing this (back then was hoping someone else would) and 3.x is shut down for now, so we'll have to wait until next year or something apparently for things like this. Arg :)
