No playback and no synthesizer and mixer
Hey folks,
after starting MuseScore today I am not able anymore to here the playback. I thought it might have to do with my external soundfonts that might not work after the update. Unfortunately, I am not able to click on the Synthesizer or the Mixer either, for they are disabled.(grey instead of black writing; same for the play button)
I checked the forum, and often they point to https://musescore.org/en/node/96811 but none of these work.
In the I/O card, all the fields are blank. I doubled checked all the drivers. Still nothing works.
I did the factory reset and also reinstalled Musescore completely, still I won't have any sound. Do you have any suggestions?

Also, the method of uninstalling → restart computer → reinstalling , as suggested in https://musescore.org/en/node/298074 does not work.

Note: In case of interference with other programs, esp. on Windows, go into your soundcard configuration from Control Panel and ensure that the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" in the Advanced tab of both Playback and Recording is unticked.
For some Mac users a PRAM (Parameter Random Access Memory)/NVRAM (NV for non-volatile) reset may solve it
Which operating system and which version of MuseScore are you using?
An attempt (which I don't know if you've already tried) to uninstall reinstall, or update, the sound card drivers.

yip I tried everything.
I use Win 10/64x with MuseScore 3.3.3.. With Musescore 2.3.2 everything works well!

Did you make sure your sound driver is upgraded. A 32 bit sound driver probably won't work on version 3.

yes it is.
none of the in the post mentioned problems seem to occur here.
