Go to drumset and try to select a specific sound, it will automatically paste the wrong one into the music, it will also override any notes already there.

The issue with the click overwriting the original note will be fixed in the next update,. But the issue with it inserting the wrong note we need to understand better. Are you by chance using a transposing instrument like trumpet or saxophone at the first instrument of your score? And do you have concert pitch turned off? If both of those are true, this is #291522: Double-click on drum palette produces wrong note when transposing instrument at top of score and concert pitch off. Otherwise, we would need you to attach your score and give precise steps to reproduce the problem. Eg, which staff/measure/beat to try to enter notes onto, and which specific drum note you are trying to enter.
