Postscript letters

• Feb 11, 2020 - 21:08

Hi,
I am creating a score for a Hebrew course and I need to use the English transliteration method of the author, meaning I need to be able to use postscript vowels. I don't seem to be able to find anything in the database. Please could you add them?

Postscript as in Adobe postscript, a file format for printing? Not sure how that would be relevant, but if you have a postscript printer driver, you can certainly print that way.

From what I can quickly find, postscript vowels are a thing in Tibetan and Thai scripture, but not necessarily in Hebrew (or at least wikipedia isn't calling them out). Unless you're referring to Tiberian diacritics.

Anyway, as far as MuseScore goes, it isn't actively blocking things like this, so make sure you're starting from a font that actually includes those characters to start with.

By "the English transliteration method of the author," do you mean the author's way of writing English words in Hebrew letters? Or vice versa? Can you post a picture showing an example of what you're trying to achieve?

Hi all, thank you for your replies. I actually meant superscript, which, as I have now discovered, is quite simple. For some reason part of the task bar was hidden and whenever I copied superscript letters from Word, it didn't recognise them... All sorted now! Thanks
