Installation via snap

• Mar 10, 2020 - 19:23

Hi, all. I just got the new Chrome OS 80, which uses Debian Buster instead of Stretch. So, I'm trying again to install MuseScore on my Lenovo C330 Chromebook, which has an ARM processor. I've posted this question on the snapcraft forum as well, since I know nothing about Linux and I don't know what this error means. So from the terminal, I installed snap, and then I ran:

sudo snap install musescore

and after a bunch of activity, it gave me:

error: cannot perform the following tasks:
- Download snap “core” (8691) from channel “stable” (unexpected EOF)

Help?
Thanks!

Glad to see you've got Chrome OS 80 up and running. Unfortunately I don't know much about snap, except I do know that improved MuseScore support it is being worked on by the maintainer of that system, so hopefully there will be an update soon? Best to ask for further help on a forum dedicated to snap specifially.
