What that means symbole lake gray "+" and flesh?

I'm just beginner and would like express my deep congratulation for this so powerful and useful tool. I'm trying already so difference tolls but I think this one is the best. I'm supporting our small chorale and unfortunately almost all scores are in pdf format. Even if online importing works relatively well I need to add small modifications. My question is related to strange symbols as gray "+". I guess that is to indicate any modifications made by PDF converter. How can I manage or remove them? Often they are wrong and related to tempo.

those + signs above staff mean that the corresponding measure's actual length is longer than the the nominal length (as per the current time signature)

The answer has been implicitly give above: by changing the measures' actual duration to match the nominal duration, via right-click > measure properties.
In the case of PDF imports it is quite often better and easier to input those from scratch rather than trying to fix the mess PDF import created

All is O.K. I've found how to remove/correct those symbol. The pdf import is "good" as to be modified. I'm very very surprised by this excellent tools. I've bought recently the ScanScore Pro but I will ask refounding. There are any comparisons.
