Can MuseScore generate sheet music from an mp3?

I appreciate that transcription software seems to need a major solo leading sound on the mp3 for software to create a solo sheet music.

I just need to be able to play the solo notes from an mp3 recording on an electronic wind instrument from sheet music transcribed from the mp3, similar to a lead sheet.

But I often then want to be able to write an alto part below the melody in the sheet music, and then delete the melody from the score so all I have is the alto sheet music to match the mp3.

Can MuseScore Pro do this well? If not, which software do you recommend?

Can another software’s generated sheet music be imported into MuseScore's sheet music?

Thanks.

Dave

Musescore PRO is a subscription to a score sharing website. So, no, it can't generate sheet music from an mp3.

Can any other Musescore software generate a score from an mp3? Again, no.

The free Musescore Studio score editing program can open musicxml files and midi files. If the other software can generate files in that format from an mp3 then Musescore Studio can open them and then they can be saved as Musescore files and can be edited. But the technology to convert from mp3 to notation is in its infancy. It will be difficult to achieve useful results with anything other than very simple music as a starting point. Don't get your hopes up.
