The navigator can take some of the page up, and you don't always need it (I typically move the score around by dragging the page).

I therefore request the option to auto-hide the navigator, please.

We are currently at MuseScore 2.0 nightly build (4200/4202).

As to the Navigator, in the released MuseScore 2 it's hidden by default and, in addition to the option to display/hide it from the View menu, has a control in the Preferences as to whether it's present at startup or not. As to the toolbars, they can be hidden, shown, rearranged, or even undocked and set to float; but to simply hide any given toolbar secondary-click anywhere in the toolbar area and uncheck the box for that toolbar.

I don't know if this issue was misunderstood, but the feature has not been implemented.

Auto-hide refers to moving your cursor to an area where the navigator is (otherwise hidden) and it will appear - until you move the cursor away. It's like how the dock on Mac works.

Priority P3 - Low

I don't see a good reason to autohide when it's but a keystroke to toggle it. I also don't see a good reason to drag the page when scroll wheel/gestures are so much more efficient :-). But indeed, it's not implemented, and it's a valid request, so I'm leaving it open, with priority as marked.

That is true about using a keystroke, though I've not always had luck with them on my system.

I suppose it depends on the user's preference and action.

By the way, I agree the priority is low - I think this might be a reserved site feature (would have marked as such).
