crashes crashes crashes
trying to write music and every few minutes the program crashes. im automatically logged out of my account. It's almost like the computer restarts linux itself but not the computer.
i save a little bit of the work I did but really it's like i take one step forward and two back.
any help would be appreciated as I dont have an alternative software for linux like musescare

Which version of musescore are you using ? On which distribution ? If you are not using MuseScore 1.0, please upgrade.

using version 0.9.6.3+dfsg-0ubuntu2 (mscore) downloaded from ubuntu software center.
if i build from the source the version offered here: http://musescore.org/en/download/musescore.tar.bz2,
that is called musescore 1.0, will that be more or less stable than the version im using on ubuntu now?

i built from source and so far no problems this is a great software
