The new cresc. and dim. items in the line palet are not placed in the score using the vertical default position that can be set in the style value for hairpins.
Even though the style setting refers to hairpins, this setting should apply to the cresc. and dim. text signs as well.

They are placed using the style setting for dynamics, so they will align well.

I can see now why this has implemented this way.
It does not make sense to though. Perhaps in a later version it is possible to give it it's own style setting.
Yes, I made a note in the code to consider this for a future release.
So how about turning this into a feature request?
