Copyright

I have managed to enter the copyright symbol at the heading but ideally I would like to add this symbol next to my name which appears at the bottom of each page. Is there a way of doing this? Terry

The © symbol is R-CTL+SHIFT+C on the Canadian Multilingual Standard keyboard, if you have that loaded into your computer. If not, you can copy and paste it from the Character Map (Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map).

ETA: Hmmm. It occurs to me I may have answered a question you didn't ask. If you meant to ask how to enter the symbol into the copyright footer that the new-score wizard creates automatically, you can modify that line by clicking FILE>Info... on the main menu. Alternatively, you can open the header and footer dialogue panel by clicking on STYLE>General>Header Footer Numbers, remove the $:copyright: tag that appears in the footer box by default, and insert whatever text you like in its place.

I have tried all recommended above . I tried copying symbol from your email and opening the footer box . I can change text but the paste option is not available. I also tried to take the symbol from the special character box but am unable to have the two boxes open at the same time to enter the symbol!

Thank you ! I have used a mixture of suggestions to solve my problem, I deleted the footer text and found a site on google which had a copyright symbol to copy and paste and went back into the footer and bingo! it copied on a right click, I have saved the site on my favourites for future scores, Terry
